Camelback Mountain features the most open acreage in the Poconos, with twenty-four trails, up to fourteen lifts, and 116 acres of terrain to ski and ride. Camelback Mountain Resort is just an hour and a half from our pickup locations in New York City. Whether you worked late the night before or have kids that hate morning wakeups, this trip is perfect for busy professionals and families. We have pickup locations uptown, midtown, and downtown, so getting on the bus is super easy. Leaving late morning, we arrive at the mountain before noon and depart after 6 o’clock. Food and drinks are available at three base lodges and the summit lodge, with afternoon drink specials arranged by our hosts. We’ve done all the work—just show up and have fun, Sherpa-style.
Camelback boasts up to twenty lanes for snowtubing and two Magic Carpet Conveyor Walkways that take you and your tube back to the summit of the snowtubing terrain. With single or double tubes, race with friends and family to see who can reach the bottom first, then jump on the Magic Carpet and get an effortless ride back to the top of the hill. Your snowtubing ticket entitles you to a three-hour session, beginning on the hour.
If you’ve bought a package with us that includes a lift ticket, you can present your lift ticket and tube for a three-hour session for only $12 (payable separately on hill). Ski, ride, tube—there’s something for everyone at Camelback.
Camelback partners with Burton Snowboards and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI) for the best in equipment, teaching, and programs. Burton’s Learn to Ride (LTR) programs incorporate the right equipment with proven teaching methods to help anyone build confidence and control, with programs designed for Kids, Adult, Women, Freestyle, and Progression.

Your bindings settings usually follow your batting stance. If you are right-handed and bat right-handed, then you will probably feel most comfortable with your left foot forward (regular). If you are left-handed or bat “lefty,” then you will likely feel right foot forward is more natural (goofy).
These are just guidelines to start. We can help you find the right fit for your ride.
Determining your ski ability is your responsibility!
Your ski ability, height, weight, age, and boot-sole length are used by the shop to determine the visual indicator settings of your ski bindings. Be sure to provide accurate information, as any error may increase your risk of injury. Consult the skier type descriptions to select your classification. These descriptions are compatible with ASTM and ISO documents.
