Colder Temps, Natural Snow, Let’s Go

With Some Confidence We Announce Our First Trip to Hunter & Windham Club Mountains Saturday December 7th

NOVEMBER 29th BASE UPDATE: BELLEAYRE 18”,  HUNTER 13”, GORE 10”,  WINDHAM CLUB 8”.

These past storms have dropped more snow in the Catskills than further upstate New York and Vermont helping snow techs at Hunter & Windham to create a lasting base. Near term weather forecasting is very generous and we will watch continuing reports for updates. We believe lower mountain conditions will improve quickly and cross mountain terrain will increase daily.

We are very confident and hopeful our December 7th trip will be worth spending on hill.  If you need a lift ticket pricing will increase within seven days of our trip so commit early. We are offering limited number of lift tickets at Hunter, at Windham Club all retail tickets need to be purchased from their website.  If you have an Epic Pass you will have access at Hunter, Ikon Pass holders need to navigate to the the Windham Club website to make a reservation; you may be able to use the .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) email.

Hey Sherpas, at this posting time there is still limited advanced terrain only but with the lower temps additional natural snowfall, and opportunities for snow-making we are more confident beginner terrain will be open by the 7th of December.  Check out Matthew Scott’s Snowology Weather & News on Facebook, he is the real deal when it comes to the winter scene.  We are here for the thirtieth year. Ask and we will provide the unadulterated facts.

How Do We Plan to Address These Shortcomings?

We will continue to offer discounted pricing for tickets purchased at least seven days in advance. Round up your posse early to take advantage of unbeatable prices!

More importantly, Urban Sherpa will be expanding our roster with local gems with fair pricing, amenities, and excellent service. Stay tuned!
